Safeguarding Children Workshop: Attachment and Attachment Disorders
This workshop on attachment is delivered by Dr Danya Glaser, who is Visiting Professor at UCL and was Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London. Dr Glaser is a past president of ISPCAN. The workshop provides a comprehensive overview of attachment and attachment disorders and how these impact children and adults.
Dr Glaser has practised, taught, researched and written widely on all aspects of child maltreatment including attachment and child maltreatment and its effects on the developing brain. Other areas of expertise include sexual and emotional abuse, neglect, and fabricated or induced illness (FII).
