Dr Hayley Crawford is an Associate Professor at University of Warwick and Co-Director of Cerebra Network. Dr Hayley leads research that aims to reduce negative clinical outcomes for children and adults with intellectual disability through improving health care, and developing tools to better understand presentation, trajectories, risk factors and mechanistic underpinnings of mental health conditions and behaviour. In this webinar, Dr Hayley will introduce The Behaviour Checklist – a co-designed, evidence-based checklist for parents and clinicians to routinely monitor common causes of behaviours that challenge in children with moderate-profound intellectual disability and complex needs. Dr Hayley will discuss the development of The Behaviour Checklist and share the underpinning research.
