This workshop will look at research and evidence-based practice and theory from both a mental health and safeguarding lens. Participants will come away with tools and confidence to address complex situations where mental health and safeguarding intersect in healthcare settings. This is an interactive session with case discussions and group activities. The session will be led by GOSH experts in the field: Dr Lee Hudson, Clinical Associate Professor and Paediatric Consultant; Carly Vassar, Chief of Mental Health; John Forrester, Matron Psychological and Mental Health Services; and subject matter experts from the GOSH mental health, safeguarding and education teams.

This workshop is delivered online, via Microsoft Teams.
