This workshop will look at what abuse linked to faith and belief is; some of the potential signs and indicators of this form of abuse; and how it may impact on children and young people in a healthcare setting. The workshop will explore how health professionals should respond to this form of abuse and will consider learning for health from Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews. There will be an opportunity for participants to talk through case studies.
